This post is just not into me....

As Mother's Day approached, I made sure to coach my 4 year old son on what to buy mommy.
" Sweetheart, all mommy wants is a ring with LOTS of diamonds"
His response " Is 10 a lot?"
"Yes, honey 10 diamonds is perfect".
My baby boy..." Well, mama, if I cant find that one I will give you something like it"
Tons of kisses later he and his father left to find me my perfect gift.  After opening all of the boxes on the display and carefully counting all of the "diamonds"  My baby boy brought home the most lovely ring. He was certain that I would like it because it is in a shape of an animal and has LOTS of diamonds.
Also, I just wanted to give you a heads up on the best EVA nail polish.
Well worth the 5+ dollars spent!
                                                  Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure

This nail polish lives up to all of expectations. I feel skinny just wearing it. Stop at Wally world, buy and shout to a sista if you love it.

Happy Mother's Day

Before motherhood, I wasted time. I didn’t value what I had been blessed with. By nature, a planner, I seemed to always look into the future as to when my life would begin. My first son was born and it all changed. Now, I realize how quickly life passes us by. He is four now and I have 2 two year olds. The dreams I had as a child are happening now. I have my husband, home and children. I know that this IS my life. I am living it NOW. I am present. I cherish every minute I have with all three of my children. I cling to each moment. I am constantly aware that swiftly, I will be longing for just one brief chance to relive these times.

I stopped waiting to do activities with my children, I make time now. This is their childhood. These are the times they will remember me as their mother. I will fill it with love, play dough, chocolate cake, picnics and tons of kisses.

Being a mother smacks me alive with understanding what I have been blessed with. I am enlightened about what life is. We all have struggles, being a mother isn’t easy, life isn’t easy. But the looks on my kids’ faces when I come home, handfuls of dandelions, crayon marks on the wall, dirty food faces make me so enriched. I am consistently surprised by the little characteristics I see in each of my children that remind me of myself and my husband.

Being their mother is a great gift. All parents say their kids grow too fast, but they are growing with the pace of life. I am so blessed to be walking through the paces of life one little footstep at a time, with my family.

Tune it Down Tiger you are 30 Thursday part DUEX

Your expected programming- Lash Extravaganza- will be shown next week..... Sorry for the change. :)

I am sure you've hit the tab above "next blog" . 85% of blogs seem to be momz talking about their kids poop or missing teeth. I adore my children. But they adore their privacy. I will keep them under the blanket (thanks Micheal Jackson). Another 8% is the extreme holy roller type.3% is stuff  I like and actually pertains to me.... Then there is the wackiest scariest craziest extreme weirdness of the world. I am sheltered for real. I totally admit it. I was shocked to see a blog about an atheist mom.... I know get over it. What was disheartening was the SEVERAL blogs about death and wanting to die. OUCH!

Worse... these are everyday people I am sure I live my life around. Its not that I don't want to be around them. People aren't their true selves in the "real world"  Shall I say FAKE?Maybe we don't see the hurt, anguish, distrust in the everyday run of the mill human encounter. Too occupied with our own junk. But, in the blog world, its whale wide mouth open for everyone to peer into.  I will try to be more mindful, understand that people I encounter maybe hiding a  loony bin person underneath. Also, I  more aware of the hurt the other may be experiencing.

What is the kookiest weirdest blog you have encountered? Any frightening? Am I weired for being weirded out? That is a positive.

Side note, Brettdushinmeankisslove Michaels, is doing great. My bud Jet said that maybe he will put me on his bucket list. :)

Jillian Michaels VS Bret Michaels

I recently read a blog that my bff Awag told me about. http://confessionsofanexgirlfriend.wordpress.com/. Love it. Exgf is trying Jillian Michaels 30 day shred. I thought I would too. So here I am  negative $8. I completed my first day. Not bad. I think I can hang. We shall see. But, I totally felt like the fat kid for sho.
There are a lot of simualrites between Jillian and my sweet Brettypoosmoockins. Here it go.

LADIES AND GENTLEMAN  MICHAELS VS MICHAELS

Bret can shred it on the guitar( i think...)
Jillian shreds it in the gym
Bret makes my heart race when he sings about thorns
Jillian makes my heart race when she makes me fake jumprope
Bret totally has long brown hair( died blonde! have you seen his roots?)
Jillian also has brown hair( this post is sucking wind)
Bret makes a lot of money off of chubthumpers like me. AKA his reality shows
Jillian makes a lot of money off of fatty mgilicuttys like me too.

Last but not least, I feel throwuppy after I watch them on TV. Why does Brettygushymook like those dirt-tay chicks? They are so... grace challenged. And Jillian, I was a little sick after playing her "You are almost done game" Really Jillian? I'm done now BAM!

KO.. that was painful. The post sounded better in my head. To my 3 readers out there, I plan to post the Lash-out extravaganza tomorrow. If, that is,  I can move my neck, I hurt it doing Jillian's "not in your neck crunches" Yes, told you I sound like a classic fatty.
BTW, I know I mis-use commas. I like ........doing....leading....dots....(or whatever they are called). Sorry.

Goodbye sucky broccoli post. Off you go into the abyss. Better luck tomorrow. Stay drama free chickpea. La La L8r.

YO Mamma!

With Mothers Day just around the corner I have been thinking about being a mother and how much I love my little babies ....

Fast forward 20 years....

What will they resent about me? Everything? Will I be the type of parent that they want to grow up and be? Or will I constantly hear from them " Mom you never....."  I know that as an adult and mother, I wonder how and why my mom made certain choices. I am a bar code product of divorce.

I hope my " Mom you never"  list reads like this....

- " Mom, you never put anything before my needs"
-  " Mom, you never failed to show me a solid faith example"
- "Mom, you never forgot to tell me you love me "
- "Mom, you never embarrassed me, you are someone I want to be like"
-"Mom, you never bailed me out of jail for underage drinking ( heck no I wont, sit and learn)
-" Mom, you never let me down, I could ALWAYS count on you"
- " Mom, you never judged me, you always let me make my life my own"
-" Mom, you never forgot to make what is important to me important to you"
- "Mom, you never showed me those pictures when YOU were in college( um....no comment)
- "Mom, you never forgot to smile each time I walked into the room"
- " Mom, you never let your disappointments, bleed in to my life"
- "Mom, you never got  too fat  :)"

I think about Kate Gosslin and her kid's 20 years from now. They will have Ca- RAY- Z  challenges.I am sure they will have a celebrity rehab for that whole family by then. But at least they will still get a paycheck! Kate does get a bad wrap. Face value, single mom, 8 kids. A girl has to eat. I don't diss her method. But, I think her journey could have been a heck of alot easier if she had faith in the G-O-D. You would think that after all of her shows, one would have them going to church. I pray for those kids.

I cant imagine why some mothers can't be mothers. Why they have to be so selfish? SELFISH. That's judgey mc'judgerson talking but... really. Poor babies. For those of you who feel that your  Moms is less than stellar. Give a shout out to the ultimate of all moms.... Our Blessed Mother, Mary. I have peace knowing that she had the same(kind of) challenges that I have everyday as a mother. I feel that I can go to her for anything. So, if your own mom is lacking.....hit up Mother Mary. You wont be let down. She is the only perfect mom out there. So give yo momma some cred.....even if she isn't perfection. Word.

Say Yes to the Dress?

My daughter is a full fledged D-I-V-A. She is so smart. Perfect curly hair not frizzy or too curly. Dances like a disco queen. And will be devastated when she finds out that her name really isn't Princess. She loves anything fancy, pink, fluffy, gaudy. Her fav words are OHHHla la and gorgeous. My princess is 2.

As girls we are always trying to be prepared. So, we have a big bash honoring Great Gpa's 90th birthday. Proof that the big G-O-D has to find the right space and time for my famdamily to meet up with him. Anyhoo, this party will be pretty fancy dancy. I need help deciding which dress will make her day. So take a look at how I spend my children's college education money...

I haven't shed the dough to buy the dress yet. So what do you think? PA lease let me know which one...

UPDATE- The Pottery Barn towels turned out to be very nice. I had to drink a glass of water after using it. It totally sucked any H20 from my body :) Must have forgotten to get the extra 36 pounds I'm rockin. Not $30 great but mos'def $10 great.

HAPPY 30 years young ( not really, prepare to hear your joints start a creekn) to my bff Awag tomorrow. Seems like you are headed toward having a great decade. Then we will be 40. Let's just stop here. Sorry to drop this on you, hard for me to swallow, at 30, you are too old for Bret Michaels,Hugh Hefner, American Idol and MTV's Real World. We can officially be victims of age-ism......Agh, the perks. Peace out. Word. Go to Mass.
